Description: This is my first post of this forum. Great wealth of information .. thank you.

I recently purchased (in Bali) what I believe to be an antique cast iron arm chair which I was told, probably came out of a Dutch colonial house.

I am not sure how to identify period of manufacture and don't have any other details about the piece.

It is made up of various sections that are bolted together.

It "seems" to have its original paint but some of the bolts and nuts that holds the various sections of the chair have been replaced at some stage.

It is a fairly heavy chair (not sure how heavy) and any information about identifying this piece would be greatly appreciated
