Description: 1964 World Series Souvenir Tickets

Two cards of tickets with four tickets on each card, still in the original envelope that is addressed and postmarked. Lower Grandstand, Section 17, Row J, Seats 18 and 19. Games 1, 2, 6, and 7.

I don't quite understand what these are since it appears that the St. Louis Cardinals played the New York Yankees this year, but these tickets are for the Cincinnati Reds at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. I believe that whatever it is, it was issued to season ticket holders. Each ticket has "Souvenir" stamped across the front of the ticket.

If someone could tell me why these tickets were issued and what they are worth, I would appreciate it.
