Home » Antiques & Collectibles » Vanity, Perfume & Shaving « Previous Item · Next Item » scallop design compact made in italy Posted By Views Date Posted Unregistered 8285 December 13, 1901 Price Paid Condition Free/Undisclosed/Unknown Good Edit Item · Description: found this under the house i just moved into a month ago amidst lots of random junk. the only markings are "Made Italy" (not made in italy) on inside rim. another very tiny "Made in italy" (couldnt get a pic, was way too much glare) on plating over the mirror by the clasp. and in the center of the bottom shell there is a "43" and thats it. roughly 2 !/2 inch in diameter and a bit over an inch thick at center while closed. looks to be brass and plated with either gold or something like it.
