Can someone please help me figure out what this is? It looks like it might be a lamp base or some part of a light fixture... it has an interesting knotted rope detail. It doesn't have any writing or names on it. Needs some more cleaning up. Something on the top may have been broken off, but the hole is still pretty smooth-edged.
