Description: hi I have piece which belonged to my mother...it is like a teapot but pours from the top only..like a pitcher I guess you would say, has a head on the top of the lid with what looks like a helmet. also has a womans had on the spout..stamped on bottom says "meridian" patented dated oct 24,1865..number shows as #187, jst under "meridian"
