Silver Cross - Whittemore Associates

Description:

This is a silver cross (1.9 ounces including chain). It measures about 3.5 inches tall and 2.25 inches wide. There is a purple cut stone in the center. The top point has an angel, the right I think a lion, the bottom an eagle and the left a lion. There are hallmarks on the back. See the pictures please. This is in a box that says Whittemore Associates Inc., Boston 8. Mass. Made in England. I cannot find out anything about this cross, what is was made for or value. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
