I have no idea what it is. It's brass. Measures 13 inches top to bottom and weighs about 2.5 lbs. It has a winding arbor behind the little brass door. I used a clock key winder and wound it and it makes a noise and the bottom piece turns a bit. Has what appears to be a hanger up on top of the long stem. Also the brass knob on what I refer to as the bottom can be pulled out sort of bounces back into place when pulled. Please help. My best guess is some type of antique auto part but what???? Keywords: HELP! Cannot Identify this brass item! Any help appreciated
