It is heavy for its size. May be made of ivory but I'm not sure. The frog was bought and we used it mainly for a door stop. The statue has Egyptian symbols/writings. It is about 6-7 inches long and about 2 1\2 inches wide at base. Keywords: Small Egyptian statue
