I found it in a cliff off the East coast of England about 15 years ago but i have no idea what it is. It does appear to have writing on it and i can make out a few letters but i cant tell what it says as it has been so weathered by the sand and sea water. Its about a couple of inches in diameter and seems to have a clip like fastner on the back. Keywords: Round metal object with clip at back
