Stuff was from a relatives house in Washington, DC, that was packed up that year. I have absolutely no idea what this is, but from the felt on the bottom, it was meant to sit on some sort of table. The rest of the box contained teacups, China, etc. Keywords: No idea what this is, it's pre 1949
