This was my grandfathers.. he cherished it and i was upset to find it stuck in a corner of the garage. I have always been fascinated with trunks and chest but have never laid my eyes on something like this.
It was purchased during ww2 from what i understand
I love it. I brought it home.. my fiance and i cleaned it up a little and plan to preserve what is there. Inside there were shells and vintage tools.
Any info would be appreciated for repair, preserving, worth, era, orogin! I will update while i learn more!
