THE MOST PERFECT TRUE TO LIFE SPECIMEN I HAVE EVER HAD IN POSSESSION, DOWN TO THE PERFECT WRINKLES OF A REAL BASSET HOUND- not a chip, mark or defect. Crest on the bottom of a foot is ESD JAPAN WITHIN A LEAF-WREATH with what appears to possibly be the Japanese mfg lettering above that and 'handpainted' below the wreath.
