Description: I dug this up near Butterfield canyon in Salt Lake City, UT. It was near a well known Native American settlement that was wiped out by Mormon pioneers in the 1860's. I know it's rusted to hell but it used to have about an inch wide leather strap that went around the handle. Does anyone know if this is native american or pioneer by the shape of the blade????? No visible markings.
