Original checkered flag from a feature won by Al Gross in 1950. This was the same year he raced the NASCAR Grand National.
My grandfather Pete Folse Sr. was a driver and left this along with many other items to my mother. When she passed, she left it to me. I'm donating a lot of these things to Sprint Car and Stock Car museums but I would like to know what this flag, if anything, may be worth.
It's been folded up and it's 67 years old so in no way is it mint-condition. It still has the first from the race.
Thought this would be a good place to start!
