Description: I have no information other than dimensions and possible original use. This came from old antique shop inventory. I got this along with some old iron pieces. This is 12 3/4"L x 8"H x 4 1/2"W. It has a thumb lock release and I assume that the paint inside the lid was once the outside color also. We thought because of the color it was fire fighting related. The box has two slots that might have gone onto a bracket and also has a beveled back edge that it could stand on. It has a leather handle in good condition. Any assistance is identifying would be appreciated.
