Description: I found this old crib at an antique store close to lake village, Arkansas about 3 years ago when I was pregnant and fell in love. They didn't have much information about it for me & I'm having trouble finding how old it is and the value. I've found replicas for $2000. It's white wrought iron I think. The paint is chipped in a few spots & i can tell the paint is really thick, I read somewhere that early 1900 furniture paint is alot thicker than modern. It has what looks like flowers on even rail and on the legs. It's on wheels. The side drops down when you step on the release thing at the bottom. I'm out of town & not sure of measurement or markings. Im very interested in the history of this crib & have been searching constantly but still no answers. It will have a lot more meaning to my daughter when shes older and i can explain how old it is & the story behind it! Anybody with some information would be greatly appreciated!!!
