Blonde color wood, all wood structure, no laminate. There is a gold plated emblem inside the top drawer of the tall dresser that says "West Michigan Furniture Company Holland, MI. From what I have researched, the store closed in 1975 and is now a museum. There are some surface scratches, but is still in real sturdy condition. Keywords: 4 Piece Dresser set
