Description:

I acquired this chair from a friend of a friend. It seems to be fairly old due to the style and condition on the tapestry fabric. I was told that it was a fertility god of some sort, but looking closer at it, the carving seems to have serpents or eels coming from the mouth. the hands look to be giving the "devil" sign. I do think it is a beautiful chair and it also has flowers carved on it.
