It belonged to my great grandmother but I do not know where it came from. There are no markings except for a serial number etched into the bottom of the platter in green colored ink. Any information on the possible origins and value would be appreciated. It appears to be handpainted and glazed and we think dates back to at least the 1940s. Keywords: Antique tureen
