estate sale find. owner took many trips to china and had many high end items, then this guy. it looks kind of like a crab and its soapstone. not much detail, but some... i thought the claws looked odd w/ the 'feathered' look to them. also note the heart shapes you can see on the back shell of the 'crab.' oh, and the weird part - the 'handle' on the back. thats all i've got really. i think its an ornament meant to anchor into a wall w/ mortar. or a mold/stamp thing you would hold and press into something. others have guessed: mask, paper weight, (simply) a crab, and ancient alien poop.
