Description: I bought this matchbox today during my lunch hour. I showed it around at work and we tried to guess how old it was, I'm now actually very curious. I don't care about it's value at all. I was just wondering if anyone could make an educated guess at the age. There's a series of characters stamped into the metal on the lip of the lid, reading something along the lines of ALBO REGR 11C.R&D, the pattern seems hand engraved but again, I'm not sure.

I'm only certain about the REG part, and fairly certain about the 11C.R&D part, I hope the pictures enclosed help. Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
