Description: This all-metal antique Dento-Form made by the Columbia Dental & X-Ray Corp. in New York was found about 25 years ago in a dilapidated house by my father. I have searched through probably more than a hundred photos of antique Columbia Dento forms and I haven't seen one that was just like this. This was found in Mayville, NY on a friends property in an old farm house in the middle of the woods that was built around 1870 and abandoned in the 1940's. The jaw use to have gold teeth in it along with human teeth but they were removed for the gold and replaced with acrylic teeth from another old dento-form of the same vintage. I removed the screws on the back of the main section that holds the teeth to the back of the articulating part and found the name "Marshall Weaver" engraved beneath it. So, I guess my question is, does anyone know when this was made, is it rare, and what is it worth?
