Description: This item was originally obtained in Roswell, Georgia, U.S.A.

It is roughly pen-shaped, made of a strong metal. Seems to have been cast. It is not hollow, heavy for it's size. It is shaped like a pen, but also is dimensionally close to a pen in size. At the top, there is a bearded man's face (both back and front). Along the shaft, there are various ornamentations. My father suggested that it might be a religious book pointer similar to a Yad, which is a Jewish ritual pointer used to point out Hebrew text.

This item may not be an antique, it may not even have been cast. I would appreciate any insight anyone might have.
