What is this sword really worth?

Description: I need an appraisal on what looks like a ceremonial katana. It looks like folded steel (I don't know what kind of steel), it had an edge at some point, and it feels like the blade extends down through the handle. The tsuba is a little loose. The sword is a bit on the heavy side, but still has good balance.
