Description: I found these metal items in an attic of an elderly couple in 1980. Clearly they are intended to be mounted to a wall (See bracket on left); the item pivots in this bracket. The long horizontal metal “post” extends out and has small clips upon which it appears something can be hung. There are no markings on the metal at all. Any ideas what these can be?
